This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Joseph (Joe) Page who was born in Fairfax, Virginia on January 26, 1988 and passed away on February 07, 2008 at the age of 20.
Everyone will remember Joseph as the quiet one that never spoke, but those that knew him saw the energy and life that he had inside. He was a friend to all and his light shined thru the shyness.
Joe enjoyed most sports (watching and playing), the beach, and spending time with his friends. His favorite color was red and 15 his favorite number. Buying a new pair of shoes would always brighten his day.
On February 3, 2008 our lives changed forever. Joe was at a party with friends when out of nowhere intruders that had crashed the party earlier, and been thrown out, came back for revenge. Joe never even saw the intruders, knew them, or knew there was a fight, but the gunman chose to fire into the house. Joe was in the path of the bullet. After being flown to the hospital with life threatening injuries he went through 5 hours of surgery. We prayed, we hoped and we tried to comfort each other, but on February 7, 2008 at 2:05 a.m. the days of suffering came to an end and Joe took his last breath.
HE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
WE WILL REMEMBER HIM FOREVER.
Please see the Special Tributes below and feel free to add one of your own.
A non-profit organization has been established in Joe's memory. Please visit the site for more information at www.thejoe15team.org
